gaming pcSome people think just having a computer system that is physically capable of playing their favorite games, even on the lowest settings, is good enough. Well I am here to tell you that it is not. You see, the gaming experience can be completely changed with a gaming PC. From exhilarating sounds to stunning visuals, you will feel as if you were in a totally different environment; as if you were in the game. Overall, a gaming PC can drastically improve the enjoyment of a game.

Graphics is probably the most commonly thought of element involved with computer gaming. Graphics is the main piece of pie since graphics is what first catches your attention; and graphics is the most powerful element to get you into the game. After all, we all love eye candy right? And a gaming PC can help to provide you with that. Now it depends on the manufacturer here, but a lot of big computer companies, such as Dell, don’t feature graphics cards in any of their normal PCs on their sites. They are only in the gaming rigs! Now a lot of small companies that make only gaming PCs aren’t like that of course. The difference between Intel’s on-board graphics and a nice nVidia Geforce 6 graphics card is tremendous! If you have any hopes at all to play games such as Half-Life 2 or Doom 3 on your new PC, an ATi or nVidia graphics card is a must!

When trying to make head shots you don’t want your memory (RAM) to overload and start paging to your hard drive and then all of a sudden you screen gets a choppy! You need fast memory and lots of it if you want to have an intense gaming experience. Having 1GB of RAM is a must and having 2GBs (or more) is preferred. This amount of RAM can only be found in gaming PCs, if you want smooth performance in intense multiplayer battles you will need lots of high speed RAM, which is featured in gaming PCs.

You think you need two speakers to make sound and you’re set eh? Think again, sound cards are probably the most overlooked piece of hardware. A quality sound card that delivers streaming rich sound will make your mind immerse into the game, as it also takes work loads off your CPU for better performance allowing for added frame rates. A good sound card combined with a properly placed 5.1 (or better) surround sound system will make you feel as if you were in the game — it sharpens your every sense to the most minor detail, helping to deliver the best possible gaming experience. Normal PCs don’t come with sound cards, they use horrible, ear-hurting on-board sound, which is unthinkable my friends!

Having to wait a long time for a game to load can be really annoying at times, but with a gaming PC you can remedy that problem. You will be able to play more and faster with the power of a high-end gaming machine. No more long waits for a game to load or even long waits for your PC to boot up! A gaming PC with make a huge impact on your gaming experience and will help you enjoy the games you play more. Any gamer serious about gaming needs a gaming PC.
